YOU & YOUR WORDS!

A man is hidden under his tongue,

Treasures lies underneath his heart,

Spoken words are kept for long,

Some to bless, others to their hurt.

You are what you speak,

You and your words,

You are what you keep,

You and your mind.

Let the words of my mouth,

And the meditation of my heart,

Be acceptable in Thy sight,

A man is what he speaks to do!

TIS CHRISTMAS

The world has music only for those who care to listen. As I walked across town yesterday amid the yuletide preparation, I noticed rush all over! It seems everyone is busy being busy. The world now is plunged into chaos. No one seems to care. Cars are running into each other, sellers are hiking prices, whiles the homeless still sleeps outside. The world has lost its rhythm, there is no melody anymore in the air, only disruptive sounds of bleating animals, chirping birds and bloating horns. Christmas used to better than this. I remember not so long ago that it was something many people actually looked forward to. I’ve kept this memory for years now when a young lady sang the First Noel on Christmas Day during Sunday School;
The First Noel, the Angels did say
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep
On a cold winter's night that was so deep.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel Born is the King of Israel!
And by the light of that same star
Three Wise men came from country far
To seek for a King was their intent
And to follow the star wherever it went.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel Born is the King of Israel!
Then let us all with one accord
Sing praises to our heavenly Lord
That hath made Heaven and earth of nought
And with his blood mankind has bought.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel Born is the King of Israel!
The music might still be playing but I doubt people hear as much as they used to. The world has music but I guess it’s only for those who stop to listen. Enjoy the yuletide!

NO KNOWN MAN!

"No one who cannot rejoice in the discovery of his mistakes deserves to be called a scholar." - Donald Foster. He is himself a fool, one who never admits when he errs. Such a man sees the world through his own lens. Makes his own rules and breaks them conveniently. Many a great men have fallen to this. The words of Ezekiel the prophet chapter 28:
“‘In the pride of your heart you say, “I am a god; I sit on the throne of a god in the heart of the seas.” But you are a mere mortal and not a god, though you think you are as wise as a god. 3 Are you wiser than Daniel? Is no secret hidden from you? 4 By your wisdom and understanding you have gained wealth for yourself and amassed gold and silver in your treasuries. 5 By your great skill in trading you have increased your wealth, and because of your wealth your heart has grown proud
Remember Jose Mou? Does a certain president come into mind? No known man is ever infallible. So when the time comes to swallow your pride, get a bottle of clean water and gulp it down for it has never killed a man before. In the end we are just men, and the best of men are only men at their best. Stay humble.
