The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn -Alvin Toffler. So the markets have burned again. People are blaming the harmattan winds, others are speculating foul play somewhere. Yet one thing we learn from history is that we never learn from history. Again those who will suffer the consequences are the poor market women. NADMO will line up with things and do their choosy donations, politicians will go there with microwave promises to score cheap points and all the burden will fall on the pastors and worship leaders to encourage and console my petrified mothers.
